Krasl Art Center in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan collects and publicly displays contemporary sculpture. On our campus and throughout the community, indoors and out, you can engage with dynamic artworks by Dale Chihuly, Richard Hunt, George Rickey, and many more artists – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The non-profit Krasl Art Center provides southwest Michigan residents and visitors the opportunity to experience high quality art exhibitions, installations, and events, and to participate in art classes, camps, guest artist workshops, and outreach opportunities. Longstanding program that provides a 45-minute gallery tour with a trained volunteer docent and a 45-minute hands-on art activity.
In collaboration with Spectrum Health Lakeland’s Population Health Department, KAC developed a traveling Art & Wellness Pop-Up based on the Trauma Resource Institute’s Community Resilience Model (CRM) ® that helps address the behavioral health challenges faced by the community.
Free monthly art activities for artists of all ages.
Partial or full-tuition for youth and adult students enrolled in 8 or 12-week studio classes.
Partnership program with Box Factory and Berrien RESA that provides Elementary and Middle/High School art exhibitions at the Box Factory for the Arts.
