Students will learn a wide variety of techniques to create forms, including coil, slab, press molds and wheel throwing. Jennifer Zona will teach students to combine these techniques to make representational and non-representational artworks.

Learn basic handbuilding techniques to make funny faces, creatures and characters out of clay! Students will learn to bring their imaginations to life through sculpting and glazing.

Use coil, slab and press molds to make faces, creatures and abstract art out of clay. Instructor will help students develop their skills and bring their imaginations to life by sculpting, glazing, and combining fired works with other materials.
Instructor Nicole Rimes will help students write and illustrate a variety of storybooks, including altered, pop-up and accordion style books. Students will learn storytelling and language art skills alongside visual arts.
Draw, paint, sculpt and create videos with instructor Keith Stevens! Young artists will work in a variety of media both individually and collaboratively to bring their imaginations to life.

Try your hand at drawing, painting, and ceramics in this multi-media art class. Instructor Nicole Rimes will teach a variety of skills so that young artists can discover their favorite medium.
Artist Lea Bult will help students develop drawing and painting skills in a variety of media, including pencil, charcoal, acrylic and oil paint. Students will work from photographic references and directly from life.
Have you taken a stop-motion animation class with Keith Stevens? Take your animations to the next level with additional editing and story telling skills. Instructor Mark Ring wil introduce techniques from film and theatre to enhance animations that bring everyday objects, actors, and artwork to life!
Learn the basics and beyond of ceramics, including coil, slab, and wheelthrowing techniques with artist Jennifer Zona. Young artists will use techniques in combination to create sculptural artworks of their own choosing.
Begin with wire sculptures in the style of Alexander Calder and progress to assemblage and plaster gauze sculptures. Sculptor Nina Menduni will teach form, space and balance as students experiment with different media.
Everyone knows penguins can’t fly, but now they can! Learn to make pressure rockets and give these aquatic birds the experience of flight.
Design and create your own miniature toy factory in a box! Each diorama will feature a different toy-making machine that connects to other dioramas to form one giant factory.
Paint your favorite arctic animal or make up your own in this fun mixed media painting project!
Create simple characters with oil clay and bring them to life using iPads! Students will work together to make short videos while learning basic timing and technical skills.
