Local ceramics artist Becky Rotter decorates her clay forms with mason-stained porcelain slip in various free-hand designs. She uses this labor-intensive process to create colorful designs inspired by nature. In this 2-day workshop, create your own hand-built forms using slabs of clay, and learn to use stencils and colored slips to create intricate patterns of your own design. Students should have some experience working with clay.
